| Duties: | Prepares calculations and sketches for a detailed segment of a project; prepares technical specifications for review and approval; evaluates vendor bids and drawings to assure compliance with specifications for reviews; approves design drawings for assigned segment of a project; monitors the activities of subcontracted technical services; assists with the development of design guides, guide specifications, and design control procedures; supervises work through the planning and scheduling of work and the review of approval of tasks when functioning in a “lead “ capacity.

| Qualifications: | BS degree in Mechanical Engineering; PE license; at least 5 years of related work experience in consulting engineering company doing industrial facilities design; must be capable of exercising independent judgment in evaluating, selecting ad applying standard design engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to make minor design adaptations and modifications; knowledge of MathCAD, Belt Stat, Pip Stress Analyses, Excel and Word.
Preferred Qualifications:MS degree in Mechanical Engineering or 30 PDH hours in Material Handling or Fluid Flow area, Refinery/Chemical Piping or Material (conveyor) Handling; 10 years experience |
