| Duties: | Lead and direct the activities of a team of Engineers and Designers with responsibility for technical quality, budget and schedule (responsible charge) on assigned projects; planning and conducting tasks requiring independent judgment in evaluating, selecting and substantial adaptation of standard design engineering techniques, procedures and criteria; participates in development of project execution plans and proposal development; prepares calculations and sketches, including moderate to large complex industrial facility design; reviews and approve drawings; prepares technical specifications.

| Qualifications: | BS degree in Civil Engineering; PE license; at least 10 years of related work experience in consulting engineering company doing industrial facilities design; must be capable of exercising independent judgment in evaluating, selecting ad applying standard design engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to make design adaptations and modifications ; must posses a working knowledge of current codes and standards including but not limited to AISC, ACI, IBC, and ASCE7 including design procedures for steel and concrete structures; must be competent in use of computer aided design software.
Preferred Qualifications: MS degree in Civil Engineering; 15 years experience; heavy industrial design experience including design of Ore Processing, Material Handling, Metals Extraction, Petroleum Refining, Chemical Processing, Gas Transmission, and Power Generation facilities.
