| Duties: | Participates in the development of project design concepts and criteria; makes recommendations on project staffing; analyzes complex design problems requiring the development of new or improved techniques or procedures;consults with construction personnel concerning design constructability as it relates to field conditions, sequencing, and scheduling of construction activities; monitors project progress for technical accuracy and adherence to schedule and budget; represents respective projects at meetings and conferences; prepares home office discipline estimates for projects of significant size or complexity;plans, organizes and supervises design engineering activities for a project of significant size and complexity (e.g. continuing services project requiring the integration of two or more engineering disciplines, or partial-scope power project), or two or more projects of moderate size and complexity (e.g. continuing services projects involving a single engineering discipline). Functions in a lead engineer or project engineer capacity on multi-discipline projects;acts as a Project Manager or Proposal Manager on small, discipline-specific projects;participates actively in team environment and contributes to successful completion of team goals; supervises work through the planning and scheduling of work and the review of approval of tasks when functioning in a “lead” capacity.

| Qualifications: | Requires a four-year Engineering degree and eight to eleven years design engineering experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires an advanced level of working knowledge of various computer software packages. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
