| Duties: | Plans, organizes and supervises design drafting activities for a specific discipline. Functions as a working supervisor providing guidance, training and direction to all lower level design/drafting staff within a particular discipline. Functions as a lead designer when requirements dictate. Incumbent works under the general direction of the Discipline Manager

| Qualifications: | Vocational technical training in basic drafting technology and 15-plus years drafting experience; or an Associate’s Degree (A.A.) in Engineering Technology or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 20-plus years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires a high level of technical ability in the appropriate engineering discipline and strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Requires a thorough working knowledge of basic AutoCAD applications (and/or Microstation) and understanding of the capabilities/limitations of the equipment in order to effectively direct its use for diverse design assignments.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer experience in heavy industrial design including design of the Ore Processing, Material Handling, Metals Extraction, Petroleum Refining, Chemical Processing, Gas Transmission and Power Generation facilitites.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 am – 5:30 pm; Friday, 7:30 am – 11:30 am.
